Patient Engagement in Healthcare in Developing Countries

Patient engagement in healthcare is increasingly recognized as a vital component of healthcare delivery in developing countries. This chapter provides an overview of patient engagement in these contexts, highlighting achievements, quality considerations, challenges, and recommendations.
