Evidence-Based Medicine in Pharmacy
摘要
Evidence-based pharmacy practice (EBPP) and pharmacist care are essential in developing countries to optimize healthcare outcomes and ensure patient safety. Despite challenges, achievements have been made in integrating pharmacists into healthcare teams, developing evidence-based guidelines, and leveraging technology for pharmacist care. Quality improvements in medication management, patient education, and medication safety have been observed. Challenges include limited access to resources, healthcare disparities, and funding constraints. Recommendations include strengthening regulatory frameworks, fostering collaborations, tailoring interventions to the local context, and advocating for policy changes. Continuous professional development, digital health technologies, and quality assurance programs are also recommended. Implementing these recommendations will further advance EBPP and pharmacist care, promoting better healthcare outcomes and equitable access to high-quality pharmaceutical services.
