Patient Care-Related Issues in the Developing Countries: Physical Assessment

  • Yaser Mohammed Al-Worafi

摘要

Patient physical assessments are vital in healthcare, even in developing countries. They provide valuable information for early detection, prevention, and management of diseases. However, developing countries face unique challenges such as limited resources, infrastructure, and trained healthcare providers. This chapter explores the achievements, quality, challenges, and recommendations for patient physical assessments in developing countries. Achievements include increased access to healthcare and early disease detection. However, variability in assessment quality and lack of standardized protocols remain challenges. To enhance patient physical assessments, it is crucial to strengthen healthcare systems, provide training, standardize protocols, promote cultural sensitivity, leverage technology, and foster collaborations. Implementing these recommendations will improve the quality and accessibility of patient physical assessments in developing countries.
