摘要

Drug and poisoning information systems are crucial tools in developing countries to promote medication safety and address poison-related incidents. This chapter provides an overview of the availability, achievements, challenges, and recommendations specific to drug and poisoning information systems in developing countries. These systems contribute to improved healthcare practices, enhanced pharmacovigilance, and increased patient safety. However, challenges such as limited resources, technological constraints, and accessibility barriers need to be addressed. The recommendations include adequate funding, capacity building, user-friendly interfaces, integration with healthcare systems, and collaborations among stakeholders. Implementing these recommendations can enhance the effectiveness and reach of drug and poisoning information systems in developing countries.
