摘要

Access to affordable and quality public health education is a vital component in addressing the diverse and complex health challenges faced by developing countries. This chapter explores the cost of public health education in developing nations, focusing on the disparities between public/government and private universities. It outlines the factors influencing these disparities, including government funding, scholarships, infrastructure, and program diversity. Additionally, the chapter presents a comprehensive set of recommendations aimed at improving access to affordable public health education, such as increasing government funding, expanding scholarship opportunities, leveraging online and distance learning, and promoting regional cooperation. The significance of community engagement, research initiatives, and advocacy efforts is emphasized to create a more inclusive and equitable educational landscape. These recommendations collectively aim to facilitate the development of a skilled public health workforce capable of addressing pressing health issues and contributing to the overall improvement of healthcare systems in developing countries.
