Cost of Pharmacy Education in Developing Countries
摘要
Pharmacy education plays a vital role in producing qualified pharmacists who contribute to healthcare systems worldwide. However, the cost of pharmacy education poses a significant challenge in developing countries, affecting students’ access and the quality of education. This chapter explores the cost of pharmacy education and its components in high-income, middle-income, and low-income developing countries. It also provides recommendations for addressing these challenges, emphasizing government funding, financial aid, public-private collaborations, and improved transparency. By implementing these recommendations, developing countries can work toward making pharmacy education more affordable and accessible, ultimately contributing to the availability of skilled pharmacists to meet their healthcare needs.
