Technology in Nursing Education in Developing Countries
摘要
The integration of technology into nursing education holds immense potential for transforming healthcare training and improving patient outcomes, especially in developing countries. This chapter explores the achievements, challenges, and recommendations related to the adoption of technology in nursing education within these contexts. Achievements include expanded access to quality education, enhanced learning environments through virtual simulations, and global collaboration opportunities. However, challenges such as limited access to technology, digital illiteracy, and high costs pose significant obstacles. To address these challenges, recommendations are provided, ranging from infrastructure development and digital literacy promotion to fostering innovation and collaboration. Advancing technology in nursing education in developing countries requires a multifaceted approach that considers local contexts and embraces the transformative power of technology to bridge educational gaps and empower future nurses.
