Education Assessment and Evaluation Methods in Developing Countries: Medicine Education

Evaluation medicine education programs such as Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS), and Doctor of Medicine (MD) have been changed from traditional evaluation and assessment to competency-based evaluation and assessment in many developing countries. Assessment and evaluation of medicine programs such as MBBS or MD are critical to ensure the quality of graduates and that they are competent and ready to work as healthcare professionals with all required knowledge, skills, and other competencies. This chapter covers the evaluation and assessment methods in medicine programs.
