Globalization over the decades has resulted in expeditious cultural changes especially due to technological development. Digitalization and virtual movements are growing fast, especially among the middle class who due to their expectation of a better lifestyle are more prone to digital content. As a result, cultural homogenization and convergence are taking place, creating a sense of cultural adoption in human nature. Hence, the purpose of the chapter is to analyze the importance of cultural globalization in the transformation of society, especially due to the impact of digitalization. It will further discuss the nature of changes that occurred in the middle-class section, which is one of the largest and most important economic classes of society. The chapter has taken special reference to tribal India as the indigenous people are believed to be one of the most marginalized sections of the society. By giving special attention to their case, the chapter tries to analyze the questions like what is the situation of tribal communities in the globalized era, whether there is a change in the lifestyle of middle-class tribal population, and how cultural globalization plays an important role in transforming their lives.
