The Impact of Inequality on Unaccompanied Migrant Children and Adolescents
摘要
Unaccompanied migrant children and adolescents, hereafter referred to as UAMCs, face great difficulties in their migration process, and their situation of vulnerability is exacerbated by the fact that they are minors without adult references in the host country. When analyzing this reality of this vulnerable group in the Spanish context, it is important to ask questions about two key issues, one about the meaning of inequality in terms of their status as foreigners versus that of minors, and the other about how to know the issues that concern their existence. Therefore, it is crucial to carry out an analysis of the existing data on social inequalityInequality and social interventions, as well as an analysis of the evolution of social policies, focusing on the latest advances that attempt to solve the problems identified in the reduction of inequalities.
