Sustainable Resources and Ecosystem Resilience in Turkey

This study examined two case studies in Turkey on sustainable resources and ecosystem resilience. These case studies are “sponge city” in the Province of İzmir and “Biorefinery” in the Province of İstanbul. Both case studies are still in progress. While these case studies were evaluated, the benefits provided to the ecosystem, any problems encountered, and solution proposals to eliminate these problems were discussed, respectively. The study’s main objective is to fill a scientific gap in Turkey in this field and serve as a guide for researchers and scholars interested in the subject.
