Design of a Prospective Cohort Study
摘要
A rigorously designed prospective cohort study provides sound evidence for orthopedic patient care. In planning an orthopedic prospective cohort study, it is key that certain methodological features be taken into account in order to make the study as robust and valid as possible. This includes defining a clear research question, appropriately designing control and intervention groups, selecting tools for outcome measurement, taking into account the effect of confounding factors, and planning to ensure high rates of compliance and follow-up.
