Instrumentation for Arthroscopy and Sports Medicine

Arthroscopic surgery plays a crucial role in sports medicine practice. Many orthopedics procedures have been found to be amenable to the arthroscopic approach, and innovative tools have been introduced in the operatory rooms to improve the outcomes of arthroscopic techniques. This chapter provides an overview of the instrumentation used nowadays in arthroscopic surgery and some examples of the use of arthroscopic instrumentation in sports medicine surgical routine.
