Patellar fracture is a common injury in traumatic accidents, but is relatively rare in the young population. Among patellar fractures, sleeve and stress fractures can be seen in children and young athletes. Because these fractures are rare and often misdiagnosed, this chapter focusses on sleeve and stress fractures.
