Diffuse Idiopathic Skeletal Hyperostosis and Ossification of the Posterior Longitudinal Ligament

This chapter will discuss two conditions resulting in spinal/paraspinal ossification: diffuse idiopathic skeletal hyperostosis (DISH) and ossification of the posterior longitudinal ligament (OPLL). Etiology and range of imaging findings will be reviewed as well as natural history and potential complications.
