Bone SPECT-CT Acquisition Protocol in Skeletal Oncology
摘要
Bone SPECT and SPECT/CT increase the sensitivity and specificity of bone tumor and metastasis diagnosis. There are several protocols depending on the clinical indications, availability of gamma camera or SPECT/CT devices, expertise of local personnel, and reimbursement situation. SPECT/CT acquisition may span a single FOV or can include multiple contiguous or separate FOVs or as a whole body (vertex to thighs or vertex to toes). In this chapter, bone SPECT/CT protocols for patients with known or suspected bone metastases are discussed.
