Elizabeth Tyrwhit (née Oxenbridge) (c. 1510–1578), a member of Katherine Parr’s circle at the court of Henry VIII, authored a prayer book written in the 1550s that was published in a 32mo condensed version by Henry Middleton for Christopher Barker in 1574 and in its entirety in Thomas Bentley’s Monument of Matrones (1582). She also penned a note gifting her Wycliffite Bible to a “dear friend.”
