Dunbar, Lilias, Mistress Campbell
摘要
Lilias Dunbar (later Mistress Campell, c. 1658–?) was born in the north of Scotland, where she underwent a conversion to non-conformist Christianity in her late teens and early twenties. Her diary, excerpts from which were published as “The Memoirs of Mrs. Campbell, from the year 1674 to 1692,” records this conversion along with accounts of Dunbar’s personal spiritual practice, which was largely devoted to private prayer.
