Sudden Arrhythmic Death Syndrome and Ventricular Tachycardia in Children
摘要
Sudden arrhythmogenic death in apparently healthy children is an unexpected event. Usually characterized by ventricular tachycardia devolving into ventricular fibrillation. Risk factors include congenital heart disease, cardiac channelopathies, or cardiomyopathies. The underlying mechanisms for such events are complex and poorly understood. This chapter will provide an overview of sudden arrhythmogenic death and ventricular tachycardia in children.
