Development of a Reverse Genetics System for Rice Tiller Inhibition Virus
摘要
As a globally vital food crop, rice suffers severe yield losses from viral diseases. While over a dozen rice viruses have been documented in China, functional reverse genetics system remains unavailable for most, significantly limiting molecular analysis and breeding for virus resistance. This chapter presents a detailed protocol for establishing a viral reverse genetics system using rice tiller inhibition virus (RTIV) as a case. The methodology provides a robust framework for developing infectious clones of other rice viruses.
