Transcriptomic Analysis from Cryosectioned Tissue Samples Using Laser Capture Microdissection-Based Geo-Seq
摘要
Geographical position sequencing (Geo-seq), combining transcriptome sequencing and laser capture microdissection, enables comprehensive learning of gene expression within the spatial context. Geo-seq is robust for in-depth gene expression analyses from tissue section at specific position coordinate across various tissue types. The abundance of specific transcripts and the whole transcriptomic architecture can be determined following region-specific laser capture microdissection, RNA extraction, and cDNA preparation. Generally, Geo-seq enables high-throughput profiling of the transcriptomic architecture encompassing over 8000 genes from a single sampled spot.
