Interphase FISH (iFISH) is applied in many areas of molecular cytogenetics. In addition to research applications for investigating nuclear architecture, iFISH is also used in routine diagnostics of clinical and tumor cytogenetics. Here we provide an overview on probes and tissues that are suitable for iFISH applications.

Interphase FISH (iFISH) is applied in many areas of molecular cytogenetics.
