This chapter summarizes the developments and applications of polysaccharide-based chiral stationary phases for the separation of enantiomers with liquid-phase techniques. The aspects such as the extended pH stability of columns, chiral separation mechanisms, and the trends in recent applications are addressed in more detail. Special attention is paid to the developments in recent years, but for a proper understanding of the topic, some earlier studies are also discussed.
