Morphological Identification of Lion’s Mane Mushroom: Hericium erinaceus
摘要
Hericium erinaceus is a medicinal mushroom easily distinguishable by its shape. It is commonly known as lion’s mane mushroom for its appearance. Fungal identification requires a detailed study of its micromorphological and macromorphological characters because most mushrooms share an overlapping character within the group. Here, we have described the protocol for studying the micromorphological and macromorphological characters of H. erinaceus.
