Determining Histone Posttranslational Modifications Along the Cell Cycle in Trypanosoma cruzi by Flow Cytometry
摘要
Detecting histone posttranslational modifications is important to understand the histone code in eukaryotic organisms. Here, we describe the use of flow cytometry to detect these epigenetic marks along the cell cycle in Trypanosoma cruzi. Using fluorescently labeled antibodies directed against specific histone variants or histone posttranslational modifications, flow cytometry allows the simultaneous detection of several parameters on a cell-to-cell basis.
