Bone Marrow-Derived Mononuclear Cells for Stroke
摘要
Cerebral infarction is one of the diseases that can lead to permanent and severe disabilities. Especially in the chronic stage, there is no treatment other than rehabilitation. Recently, various regenerative therapies have been developed, some of which have already been applied clinically. However, their outcomes are not fully satisfactory. We created a mouse model of chronic cerebral infarction and confirmed the therapeutic effect of intracerebral administration of bone marrow-derived mononuclear cells. In this chapter, we will describe the experimental method in detail.
