Conventional and Novel Methodologies to Extract Nano-Cellulose from Fruit and Vegetable Wastes
摘要
Waste from the processing of fruits and vegetables is produced in significant amounts each year, but only 30% of it is processed and used in other sectors. The remaining 70% of waste still significantly makes up a substantial portion of the global waste yield, which is a threat to the environment. This chapter outlines conventional and sustainable novel techniques employed in extraction of nano-cellulose from fruit and vegetable processing waste, exploring its potential applications in diverse fields.
