Isolation and Enumeration of Circulating Endothelial Cells with Antibody-Labeled Staggered Herringbone Microfluidic System
摘要
Circulating endothelial cells (CECs) are a key indicator of cardiovascular dysregulation. It is possible to efficiently isolate live CECs from patient blood samples for subsequent analysis by using microfluidic systems. Antibody-based methods ensure efficient and high-accuracy isolation of CECs. By performing this isolation under septic conditions, it is possible to collect viable CECs, which can then be cultured for further study. In this work, we detail the process of isolating and enumerating CECs from patient blood using biotinylated x-hu anti-CD31 antibody-coated staggered herringbone (μ-HB) devices.
