Eclipta alba (L.) Hassk. is an herbaceous plant with significant therapeutic potential. Notable for its rapid growth and adaptability, it thrives in diverse environments, including those with poor soil and high pollution levels. Cryopreservation of E. alba pollen serves as an effective strategy for the long-term conservation of its genetic material, ensuring its availability for future breeding programs and biodiversity preservation. In this study, pollen grains were collected from mature, healthy flowers and desiccated under a laminar airflow hood to reduce moisture content—an essential step for successful cryopreservation. The desiccated pollen was subsequently stored in liquid nitrogen at −196 °C. Post-cryostorage, pollen viability was assessed through in vitro germination tests and pollination trials. The results demonstrated that E. alba pollen retained high viability after cryopreservation, as evidenced by satisfactory germination rates and successful fertilization outcomes.
