Magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) is a well-established medical imaging technique that is used to visualize internal structures of the body without the use of ionizing radiation. Instead, MRI uses radio waves and a strong magnetic field to construct detailed cross-sectional images of various parts of the body, including the brain and spine. Magnetization transfer MRI is a well-established medical imaging technique based on the underlying physics of nuclear magnetic dipole-dipole interaction between water and macromolecules in a relaxation mechanism. Here we use this technique to acquire MRI images of human glioblastoma, medulloblastoma, and brain metastasis tumors in a patient-derived orthotopic xenograft model.

摘要
