The peroxisome proliferator-activated receptor gamma (PPARγ) is a type of nuclear receptor protein that plays a crucial role in regulating gene expression and various cellular functions. In this chapter, the western blot procedure is demonstrated for the detection and quantification of the PPARγ nuclear protein from either adipocyte cell lines or adipose tissue.
