Immunocytochemical Detection of Phytohormones and Phytohormone-Related Compounds in Abscission Zones
摘要
This chapter presents a detailed step-by-step guide for the procedure of detecting plant hormones and proteins related to phytohormonal metabolism and signaling in a specific group of cells named the abscission zone (AZ). Sections of the AZ should pass through numerous procedures before they can be studied for localization of these molecules. Using the presented method, we achieved excellent results on AZ of lupine flower; however, we believe that the protocol can be applied to other AZ fragments collected from soft, nonwoody plant tissues.
