Detection of Foodborne Gram-Positive Bacteria by Magnetic Quantum Dot Nanoparticle-Based Sensor
摘要
The increasing trend of foodborne pathogens has given rise to severe disease and created nuisance of public health concern globally. Foodborne illness caused by bacteria not only leads to foodborne toxins but also affects the shelf life of foods. Magnetic quantum dot nanoparticles are one among the promising designs of sensors used to detect the foodborne pathogens. Details are provided about the preparation of nanocapsulesNanocapsules and detection of S. aureus using quantum dot nanoparticle-based sensors in orange juice and milk samples.
