Assessment of Dietary Requirements Through Sports-Specific Training
摘要
Sports nutrition is the study of the relationship between the human body and nutrition, focusing on developing manageable daily meal plans that enhance physical activity, aid in recovery, and maximize athletic performance while promoting general health and wellness. Early focused fitness development is crucial for maintaining a healthy lifestyle, avoiding overweight problems, minimizing motor defects, and improving overall quality of life. Sports nutrition specialists should offer customized advice to each athlete’s unique needs. Dietary assessment is a crucial component of the nutrition assessment process, assessing an athlete’s food intake, calorie intake, macro- and micronutrient consumption, and diet quality. Both prospective and retrospective methods are used, with the assessment strategy aligning with the activity’s goal. Various materials are used for anthropometric measurements, such as weighing scales and stadiometers, and applications like myfood24, INDDEX24, Diet Dairy, Food Dairy, MyPlate, or MyFitnessPal. For dietary assessment of athletic nutritional requirements, methods like 24 h recall, food frequency questionnaire (FFQ), diet history questionnaire (DHQ), multiple phase 24-h recall, food dairies, and food history diaries can be used.
