The study of the interaction of microorganisms with plants is important in many scientific studies. Analyzing beneficial microorganisms, or determining pathogenicity tests, are routine studies in various areas of biology and phytopathology. Therefore, establishing standardized inoculation methods for seeds and seedlings will facilitate the management and analysis of results in similar trials. In this protocol, three strategies for seed inoculation like seed bio-priming, seed coating with biopolymers like alginate, and seedling inoculation in liquid are summarized.
