Histological Methods Used in the Study of Protocorm. II. Techniques and Protocols

This chapter highlights suitable histological and staining methods for studying protocorm development. Emphasis is placed on the initial preparation techniques as tissues’ handling, fixation, and processing are critical to the success of any method used. Macroscopic examination methods and some technical aspects of paraffin and plastic embedding procedures are discussed in detail.
