Protocol for the Determination of Plant Phenolics by Microwave-Assisted Extraction
摘要
The development of efficient extraction processes for both analysis and processing is increasingly demanded. Microwave assistance is a technology more efficient, selective, and with lower energy consumption than conventional extraction, also allowing lower use of toxic organic solvents. This chapter describes the suggested stages to optimize the operational conditions during microwave-assisted extraction of plant phenolics. It is aimed at providing the reader with guidelines on how to design and interpret the experimental approach to optimize the microwave-assisted extraction of phenolic compounds from plant biomass.
