摘要

Contaminants of emerging concern (CECs) have been the main focus of food toxicology and environmental chemistry in recent years due to their extended usage, continued emission, and potential ecotoxicological effects. CECs are ubiquitous in the environment and can be bioaccumulated and biomagnified in aquatic and terrestrial organisms that might be eventually consumed by humans. Here we describe analytical methods for the analysis of CECs in fish muscle, commercial milk (i.e., liquid and powder), and human breast milk samples by means of liquid chromatography coupled with high-resolution tandem mass spectrometry (LC-HRMS/MS).
