摘要

Flagellates have one to many flagella, which are used for motility, attachment to a substrate, and feeding. They differ phylogenetically. Non-flooded Petri plate method is a useful culture method for observing species diversity in soil over a few months. When employing this method, several factors must be taken into account. First, the method alters soil parameters such as aggregate size, porosity, and cation exchange potentials, which may influence protozoan activity and abundance.
