Methodology to Study Species Diversity of Naked Amoeba and Testate Amoeba
摘要
The following method works well with the majority of soil and litter samples, even though most processes grossly underestimate the abundances of naked amoebae. Gymnamoebae, Mastigamoeba, Mycetozoa, Heterolobosea, Cercomonadida, and Gromia can all be classified as naked amoebae. Because of their abundance and diversity, testate amoebae are one of the most studied microorganisms in Sphagnum peatlands, but their close relationship with environmental factors makes them one of the most informative ecological indicators in the ecosystem. The following technique enables the researcher to investigate the species diversity of testate amoebae within soil sample.
