Preparation of Postbiotics from Saccharomyces spp.
摘要
Postbiotics are the secondary or metabolites which are synthesized by food-based microorganisms through the growth and fermentation intricate microbiological culture food and gut regions. The aim of this study is to develop novel protocol for postbiotic production from Saccharomyces sp. Postbiotics production are initiated from strains selection and pre-cultured on yeast extract peptone dextrose (YPD) medium consisting of carbon, nitrogen sources, vitamins and maintained at the pH 6.5 ± 0.2. Then, the log phase culture is transferred into the production medium and keep the flask into a rotary shaker for 24 h. After incubation, the broth is added to the fed-batch bioreactor designed with 20 litres capacity. On completion of the fermentation process, the collected residues are applied for separation and centrifugation process. Then the product is purified through high-performance liquid chromatography. The purified residues are freeze-dried at −80 °C and stored in a vials at −18 °C.
