摘要

Bacteriocins are ribosomally generated peptides containing antibacterial action generated by various bacteria that have the potential of regulating clinically significant susceptible and drug-resistant pathogens. Bacteriocins have been explored in order to alter and increase their physicochemical characteristics, pharmacological activities, and biosafety. Bacteriocins produced by lactic acid bacteria (LAB) are potentially effective against various bacteria and fungi. As probiotics, lactic acid bacteria play an important part in aiding several health benefits that include the capacity to modify the immune response to a range of infections. Here, we describe the production, purification, and characterization of bacteriocin postbiotics and their activity against mycobacterium using MABA and LRP assay for tuberculosis drug development.
