Evaluation of Antioxidant Activity of Postbiotics in Cell Cultures
摘要
The production of intracellular ROS can be measured by using the compound 2′,7′-dichlorodihydrofluorescein diacetate (DCFH-DA), which is a fluorogenic probe used to detect the presence of ROS, being permeable to the plasmatic membrane of cells. Inside the cell, this nonfluorescent compound is oxidized by intracellular ROS, generating the highly fluorescent product 2′,7′-dichlorodihydrofluorescein (DCF), which can be analyzed by fluorescence spectroscopy.
