Papalexi, Nicolai Dmitrievich

A Soviet radiophysicist, Nicolai Dmitrievich Papalexi was a tireless pioneer of Soviet radio astronomy. He turned his skills in radiophysics and radio engineering, developed between World War I and World War II by work on radiotelegraphy and electron tubes, to the earliest Soviet experiments in radio astronomy, including an independent discovery of solar radio emission.
