Popovici, Călin

Professor Călin Popovici (1910–1977) was the founder of Romanian astrophysics and space science research at the Bucharest Observatory. He is known not only for his works in astrophysics and geodesy but also for his many popular articles (Dumitrache and Popescu 2007; Dumitrescu and Maris 2007).
