Cu-Catalyzed Functionalization of Heterocycles Through C–H Activation
摘要
A paradigm change from the conventional logic of organic synthesis is represented by C-H bond functionalization. This mainly relies on the controlled functionalizations of specific C-H bonds in the presence of more reactive functional groups. Extensive studies have been carried out in this area under various transition metal-catalysed conditions, especially with expensive 4d transition metal catalysts. Recently earth-abundant and cheap copper salts are immensely used for this purposes due to their low cost and promising chemical properties. In this chapter, we have summarized the recent progress in the copper salts-catalyzed site-selective C-H bond functionalizations of several heterocyclic scaffolds.
