Introduction to “Energy Resources in the MENA Region”

In this chapter, the book titled Alternative Energy Resources in the MENA Region is presented. In addition to an introduction and a conclusion, the book consists of 11 main chapters, which fully comprises 18 chapters. The 18 chapters bring together four main themes. Topics include (a) solar energy, which is covered in five chapters; (b) wind energy, which is covered in five chapters; (c) geothermal and biomass energy, which is in five chapters; and (d) the experiences of developed countries, which is in four chapters.
