Musculoskeletal (MSK) radiology plays a crucial role in the post-operative imaging of hand and wrist conditions. Apart from plain radiography, evolving and emerging radiology modalities such as computed tomography (CT), magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) and ultrasound (US) imaging provide the ability to assess fracture healing, detect post-operative complications, implant or hardware failures and monitor orthopaedic procedures. These abilities are fundamental to support clinical decision-making process and effective patient management. In this chapter, focussing particularly on post-operative imaging of hand and wrist conditions, we provide an overview of a spectrum of pathologies MSK radiology is able to aid hand surgeons in Clinical Practice.

摘要
