Article 164 [Implementation]

The article was originally numbered as Article 125 TEEC, then Article 148 TEC, and following the Lisbon Treaty it was renumbered as Article 164 TFEU. Its content has been modified due to the change of the co-decision procedure introduced by the Maastricht Treaty into an ordinary legislative procedure by the Lisbon Treaty but has not been substantially changed.
