The paper attempts to investigate the position of women within International Economic Law. The paper makes a detailed inquiry into the structural and normative structures of IEL. The paper looks into possible reforms at the municipal and international levels. The paper proposes a comprehensive strategy for reforms which may be incorporated into IEL norms. The paper further argues that any attempt at reform at the international level has to be supported and complemented at the municipal level as well.
